The company was segregated into two separate legal entities under a holding company structure, resulting in the establishment of two wholly owned subsidiaries: Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Life Limited (SLIC Life) and Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited (SLIC General). This restructuring enables each entity to dedicate its full focus to its respective businesses, delivering greater value and more effectively identifying the unique needs of its target market segments.
