## Description

Sliding Doors Foundation is an Adelaide-based charity that helps young people facing social or economic disadvantage access opportunities to learn, develop and thrive. Its programs support young people who show leadership potential or community-mindedness but encounter financial or social barriers to education and career development.

The Foundation offers scholarships for secondary school, university and vocational education, including trade apprenticeships. School scholarships are available to eligible students attending a private college and primary-aged students preparing to enter secondary school. University scholarships support recent school leavers who have demonstrated leadership or community involvement and cannot otherwise proceed to university. Other scholarships assist young people pursuing vocational education, including those with experience in teamwork, volunteering, community activities or leadership programs.

Alongside financial assistance, the Foundation provides mentoring, work experience and networking support to help scholars make the most of their potential. It also offers resources for scholars and opportunities for partners and supporters to get involved. Donations help fund its work and create life-changing opportunities for young people in need.
