## Description

Sloan Museum of Discovery is a hands-on science and history museum in Flint, Michigan, located on the Flint Cultural Center campus. Reopened in 2022 after an extensive expansion and renovation, the 107,000-square-foot museum offers interactive experiences for visitors of all ages. Its galleries explore science, local history, early childhood learning, and automotive heritage, including displays of vintage and concept vehicles. A special exhibit gallery hosts traveling exhibitions, while Discovery Hall features a maker space with arts and crafts, building materials, and weekly activities led by museum staff and educators. The museum also offers workshops, educational programs, field trips, camps, community events, and research resources. Visitors can plan a combined visit with Longway Planetarium, which presents shows, laser light programs, and live lectures. Tickets are available for museum admission, planetarium shows, and discounted combination visits. On-site amenities include a museum store and the Coffee Beanery Café, serving meals, snacks, and beverages. Sloan Museum of Discovery supports learning and cultural experiences for families, schools, and the wider community.
