## Description

The Slovene Theatre Institute (SLOGI) is a national public institute dedicated to preserving and promoting Slovenian theatrical culture. Established to collect, document, research, and interpret materials related to theatrical heritage, SLOGI offers a variety of engaging programs, events, and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing audience engagement. The institute hosts exhibitions, archival collections, and diverse educational programs, including workshops focused on dramatic writing for youth and discussions about the status of playwrights in Slovenia and Germany.

In addition to its educational efforts, SLOGI publishes specialized literature and maintains a digital library that supports research and cultural studies. Its esteemed journal, "Amfiteater," reflects contemporary theatrical theory and critique. SLOGI also acts as a reference point for both domestic and international theatrical productions through its digital platforms, including the Zlata Paličica for youth theater programming and the Slovenian Drama in Translation portal. With a commitment to fostering a deep appreciation for theater, SLOGI plays a crucial role in Slovenia's rich artistic landscape.
