## Description

SloMBA is a Slovak civic association that has worked since 2008 to improve conditions for mountain biking in Slovakia. Its activities focus on promoting the sport, building new forest trails and restoring older routes that have fallen out of use. The association’s trails are designed primarily for cyclists, while also welcoming runners and hikers. SloMBA emphasizes responsible, considerate interaction with nature throughout its work.

To date, the organization has built or restored singletrack trails near Košice, Prešov and Bratislava, with reported routes spanning 4, 6 and 19 kilometres respectively. Its trail network includes destinations such as Tri Jarky, Výšľapka and other Prešov singletracks, KE.CY trails near Košice, and Cerová dráha and Trail Biely Kríž in Bratislava. SloMBA also shares trail information and supports projects through collaboration with partners and public contributions. The association operates on a voluntary basis: its members give their free time to the work without receiving payment. Through these efforts, SloMBA helps develop accessible outdoor routes and strengthen mountain biking in Slovakia.
