## Description

The Sloth Conservation Foundation (SloCo) is dedicated to the preservation of sloths, focusing on the five species of three-fingered sloths native to the lush forests of Central and South America. This organization engages in vital research and conservation efforts, including the Urban Sloth Project and The Great Sloth Census, aimed at understanding and protecting these unique mammals. SloCo offers various services, such as education materials, volunteer opportunities, and a sloth-friendly network, empowering individuals to help safeguard sloth habitats.

Through their initiatives, SloCo promotes sustainable practices such as power line insulation and tree planting, addressing the threats of habitat loss and climate change. The foundation also allows animal lovers to adopt sloths, sponsor specific projects, and participate in fundraising activities. With a commitment to scientific research and community engagement, the Sloth Conservation Foundation is dedicated to ensuring a future where sloths thrive in their natural habitats, raising awareness of their ecological importance and the challenges they face.
