## Description

Slovak Theatre in London is a dynamic and vibrant devised theatre that showcases productions on timely and relevant topics in both Slovak and English. Run by a group of young Slovak and Czech artists living in London, it serves as a platform for these talented individuals to create and showcase their own independent artistic projects. The theatre crew changes with each new production, comprising professionals with the necessary artistic education. Since its establishment in 2017, the theatre has been gradually shaping and growing within the Slovak community. Despite being based in a foreign country, it offers opportunities for young adults to quickly and efficiently create impactful theatre, without the need for prior experience in the UK. As a nonprofit organization, Slovak Theatre in London relies on a combination of grants, donations, and ticket sales to fund its projects and tours. They regularly perform in various UK locations as well as native communities in Prague, Brussels, and Slovakia. Their reach continues to expand each year, with a growing range of performances in different venues and countries. The logo features a heart divided into two halves, symbolizing the life situation of migrants who must divide their commitments and duties between two countries. This imagery represents the core values of the theatre and reflects their dedication to creating universally relatable experiences for all audiences. For those interested in supporting Slovak Theatre in London, donations are welcome, and subscribers can stay updated with the latest shows and news.
