## Description

The South Lake Tahoe Windjammers Yacht Club (SLTWYC), established in 2018, is a vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a community of boating enthusiasts in the stunning surroundings of South Lake Tahoe, California. Formed from the merger of two longstanding yacht clubs, SLTWYC promotes mutual interest in boating through education, safe practices, and social engagement.

Members of SLTWYC enjoy a diverse range of activities throughout the year, including summer boating adventures like beach picnics, overnight camp-outs, and a festive boat parade. In winter, members partake in skiing and special mystery trips. The club also hosts regular dinner meetings and conducts fundraising events to support local charities.

As part of the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association, SLTWYC offers members access to over 100 other yacht clubs. With a commitment to enhancing boating experiences for all ages, including youth programs, SLTWYC is the go-to destination for sailing and boating enthusiasts in the region.
