SMA Finland ry is a nationwide Finnish association for people living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and their families and loved ones. Its central aim is to advance access to medical treatments for SMA in Finland, with a particular focus on making drug treatments available to everyone affected. The association also advocates for newborn screening and a continuous, coordinated care pathway.
