# Small Oaks - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `smalloaks.co.nz` ## Description Small Oaks Early Learning Centre is a locally owned childcare centre in Manurewa, Auckland, with more than 30 years of service to the community. Formerly known as Original Kids, it operates from a renovated bungalow designed to provide a warm, home-like setting. The centre is licensed for up to 30 children aged from three months to six years and offers a mixed-age environment where children learn from and support one another. Small Oaks provides personalised early learning shaped by each child’s interests, developmental needs, and whānau aspirations. Its programme is grounded in Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s Early Childhood Curriculum, and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Learning experiences support curiosity, creativity, independence, problem-solving, environmental awareness, academic knowledge, motor development, and self-care skills. The centre values bicultural practice, cultural diversity, and close partnerships with families. Located at 1/25 Maich Road, the centre is open from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Families can contact Small Oaks to discuss enrolment and ask about 20 hours of free Early Childhood Education. ## Industries - 🏝 Lifestyle - 🏝 Childcare _(under Lifestyle)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/smalloakselc) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/smalloaks_elc) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1q0i0ZkA/w/612/h/384/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793001935650) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id1q0i0ZkA/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793001935821) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | River Bed | #4a5464 | accent | | Torea Bay | #0f3d88 | dark | | Wild Sand | #f5f5f5 | light | ## Fonts - Manrope — asset _(google)_ - Manrope — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
