## Description

Capacity is an AI customer interaction platform founded in 2017 by David Karandish and Chris Sims and headquartered in St. Louis. It helps organizations automate, support, analyze, and improve customer and employee interactions across multiple channels. Its products include AI agents for voice, chat, SMS, and email; real-time agent assistance and guidance; and analytics tools for conversation intelligence, automated quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and interaction summaries. Capacity also offers outbound campaigns through SMS, voice, and WhatsApp.

The Voice AI Agent handles routine inbound calls through natural conversation, answering inquiries from connected company knowledge and transferring callers to human agents with relevant context when needed. Capacity’s knowledge orchestration layer connects information from sources such as SharePoint, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and company websites, helping keep answers consistent across channels. The platform includes neural voices in more than 30 languages, call insights, and integrations with existing contact center systems, including RingCentral and NICE. Capacity serves industries such as retail, financial services, healthcare, education, insurance, and automotive, and provides tools for customer support, sales, HR, and IT teams.
