## Description

SPD-SMARTGLASS, developed by Research Frontiers, is a revolutionary brand in the field of light-control technology. With their electronically tintable glass, any window, sunroof, or skylight can now control the transmission of light. Using electrically aligned nanoparticles in the film, users can easily adjust the tint of their glass with just a touch of a button. In its maximum tinted state, this smart glass blocks 95% of heat and harsh sunlight. What's more, the patented SPD-SmartGlass technology effectively blocks UV and infrared rays, even in its clear state. This ensures cooler and protected environments wherever it is used. Research Frontiers' smart glass products are incredibly versatile and can be integrated into various settings, such as cars, aircraft, yachts, trains, homes, offices, museums, and more. The technology can also be controlled through different means, including wall switches, dimmers, motion detectors, light or temperature sensors, and smartplugs. With over $100 million invested and licenses granted to over 45 companies worldwide, Research Frontiers is at the forefront of the global market for electronically tintable glass. Stay up to date with the latest news and advancements in this innovative technology by following Research Frontiers.
