## Description

SmashPad is a reputable brand in independent gaming journalism, offering insightful commentary and game reviews. Founded by Amadeo Plaza and Anthony Perez, it emerged as the main outlet for the editorial staff of Gamer 2.0, gradually gaining recognition under the leadership of Chris Selogy, Danreb Victorio, and Filippo Dinolfo. Unlike many gaming blogs, SmashPad focuses on critical analysis rather than breaking news, providing a well-supported perspective on the gaming industry. The brand's review policy ensures fair game evaluations using a 5-star rating scale, with most games purchased or rented by the staff for review purposes. Additionally, SmashPad welcomes passionate individuals to join their team as contributors, staff writers, copy editors, or social media specialists, offering valuable networking opportunities within the gaming industry. Despite being a volunteer-based platform, SmashPad provides rewarding experiences and potential career growth for aspiring gaming writers.
