## Description

The Segel-Motorboot-Club Friedrichshafen e.V. (SMCF) is a vibrant sailing and motorboating community established in 1977, boasting over 300 enthusiastic members. Located at the scenic Hintere Hafen in Friedrichshafen, the club's focal point is its unique club house, "Schussen," a converted ferry dating back to 1929. SMCF organizes various competitive events including the prestigious Graf Zeppelin Regatta, Einhand Regatta, and Oldtimer Regatta, fostering a spirit of camaraderie among sailors. 

Committed to youth development, SMCF collaborates with the Württembergischen Yachtclub (WYC) to offer extensive youth training programs aimed at introducing children and teenagers to sailing. Additionally, the club provides annual courses for beginners to obtain the Bodensee-Schifferpatent, allowing members to navigate both sail and motorboats on Lake Constance. With a welcoming atmosphere and breathtaking views, SMCF invites both members and guests to experience the joy of water sports and community.
