Founded by prominent figures including the late Avina'am Armoni, Dr. Michal Hamou-Lotem, and Shira Kaslo, the initiative focuses on preventing children and youth from being exposed to smoking and tobacco products, tackling the issue before it arises. The organization operates through effective advocacy, regulatory changes, and educational efforts aimed at fostering a smoke-free environment.

Key services include legislative initiatives to restrict tobacco advertising, rigorous research on smoking trends among youth, and collaboration with policymakers to promote tobacco control. The initiative also emphasizes community education, providing resources and training for parents and educators to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking.

Having gained recognition for its impactful work, the Anti-Smoking Initiative strives for a healthy, smoke-free Israel, making significant strides in public health and policy change to protect future generations from the effects of tobacco use.
