Southern Michigan Obedience Training Club (SMOTC) is a premier AKC Member Obedience Training Club dedicated to helping owners become skilled trainers for their dogs. With a focus on service and a commitment to excellence, SMOTC offers a wide range of dog training classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced. But SMOTC is more than just a training club.

We pride ourselves on fostering a friendly and supportive community of dog lovers. Through outreach events, membership meetings, and social gatherings, we aim to create a unified and bonded group of like-minded individuals who share a passion for dogs. To ensure the success of our club, we value active participation from our members.

Prerequisites for membership include completing at least one training class with us, assisting in various classes, attending club meetings, and obtaining sponsorship from two members in good standing. Our monthly membership meetings, held in Berkley on the third Friday of every month, are open to guests with permission from the President.
