## Description

PMI U.S. represents the U.S. businesses of Philip Morris International, with its headquarters and innovation hub in Stamford, Connecticut, and operations in communities nationwide. The company says it is working to replace cigarettes and other traditional tobacco products with smoke-free alternatives and advance public health. Its modern nicotine products include ZYN nicotine pouches and IQOS, a tobacco-heating system; its U.S. portfolio and operations also include General snus and HEETS, the consumable used with IQOS. These products are intended for adults aged 21 and older who would otherwise smoke.

Alongside its focus on smoke-free science, PMI U.S. highlights corporate social responsibility, policy engagement, responsible marketing and retail, and real-world monitoring. The company is expanding U.S. manufacturing and says its investments are intended to create jobs, support suppliers and local businesses, and strengthen regional economies. Projects include an expansion of its ZYN-producing facility in Owensboro, Kentucky, and a new manufacturing complex under construction in Aurora, Colorado.
