## Description

Saskatoon Minor Softball League (SMSL) is a community youth softball organization based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It supports players, families, coaches, and umpires through seasonal programs, league play, development opportunities, and practical information for participating in softball. The league offers age-group programs, including U9, U11, U13, and U15 activities, as well as fall ball, a junior league program, and a Learn to Play program with winter camps. Its website provides registration information, schedules, standings, team details, diamond locations, and updates about program changes. Players can also find information about zone teams, out-of-zone evaluations and transfers, tournaments, city championships, and provincial competition. SMSL supports volunteers with coaching pathways, clinics, coaches’ packages, and junior umpire information, while offering families resources such as rules, rainout and rescheduling forms, and an incident form. The league coordinates activities across local zones, including Lasers, Hustlers, Raiders, Phantoms, and Saskatoon Selects. By connecting recreational learning, organized competition, and volunteer support, SMSL helps make youth softball accessible and well organized for the Saskatoon community.
