Originally, Snehalaya focused on providing education to the children of sex workers in Ahmednagar. However, it has now expanded its services to support women, children, and LGBT communities affected by HIV and AIDS, trafficking, sexual violence, and poverty.

Operating in Maharashtra, India, Snehalaya annually serves over 15,000 beneficiaries.
