## Description

Särkover Narrengilde Hilbringen e.V. is a carnival association based in Hilbringen, Merzig, in Germany’s Saarland region. The organization promotes carnival traditions, dance and guard performance, and a strong sense of community. It has more than 300 members and around 160 performers across 12 groups, including over 120 children and young people from the surrounding area.

The guild brings its members and local audiences together through an annual program of carnival events. These include two Kappensitzungen, a children’s carnival session held in cooperation with Hilbringen Primary School, and a season-opening celebration in November. Its performers include dance groups, individual acts, carnival speakers, and other participating groups. The association also supports local events such as the Viezfest and Christmas market.

Beyond the carnival season, members can take part in activities such as a youth camping trip, a group May hike, and an Oktoberfest visit. The guild welcomes new members and shares event information, photographs, and club updates through its website and shop.
