# Sobukan - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sobukan.com.au` ## Description Sobukan Dojo is a martial arts school focused on helping people become healthier, fitter and safer through mixed martial arts training for self-defence. Based at 917a South Road in Clarence Gardens, the dojo describes itself as a supportive community where members develop practical life skills in a fun, safety-conscious environment. Instruction is led by a passionate head instructor with more than 40 years of experience. Training combines a full-body workout with martial arts and personal safety techniques. Students learn verbal de-escalation, powerful and precise strikes, throws, submissions and law-enforcement arresting techniques. The dojo also encourages members to train hard, build healthy habits and support their fellow students. Its programmes include children’s classes, graded syllabus levels from white belt to black belt, and trial lessons; the site invites newcomers to try a free lesson. Membership and safety policies are also outlined for prospective students. Sobukan announces that it will close in December 2026 because its head instructor is moving overseas, with a 15th-anniversary celebration scheduled for September 27, 2026. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id84RJn4wX/w/940/h/198/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793311622704) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Portage | #9896f0 | accent | | Science Blue | #0066cc | dark | | Cherokee | #fdd79a | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
