## Description

The Southern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup is a dedicated committee that aims to establish unity among hospital and institution committees in the San Diego area. Comprised of delegates from these committees and liaisons from General Service Areas, this intergroup also collaborates with AA Contact on Release, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and the Northern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup. The primary objective of this committee is to exchange experiences, strength, and hope in order to effectively carry the Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) message to individuals confined in hospitals, jails, and prisons. It is important to note that this committee does not have governing authority and cannot make rules that would impact individual Hospital & Institutional Committees. If you are interested in participating, online H&I intergroup meetings are held on Zoom every 4th Sunday of the month, and the committee also offers treatment committee meetings, facility directories, and calendar schedules. Join the Southern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup in their mission to bring hope and support to those in need.
