## Description

Sociální klinika is a Czech nonprofit organization providing affordable short-term therapy to people facing difficult life circumstances who might otherwise be unable to afford professional support. Its mission is to help clients actively work through personal challenges with experienced therapists. Therapy typically consists of 12 sessions, with clients contributing according to their financial circumstances. The organization aims to arrange a start within one month of application and operates throughout the Czech Republic.

Its services are delivered in collaboration with professional volunteer therapists and crisis intervention workers. Sociální klinika also provides crisis consultations and information about short-term therapy, including what clients can expect and how to apply. The organization emphasizes accessibility, professional care, and support tailored to each client’s financial means. It notes that it is neither a social service provider nor a healthcare facility. Founded in 2014, it reports having supported thousands of clients through therapy and crisis consultations. Sociální klinika also shares client experiences, publishes annual reports, and invites the public to support its work through donations and other forms of engagement.
