## Description

The Society of Consulting Psychology (SCP) is Division 13 of the American Psychological Association, bringing together professionals who apply psychological knowledge to support individuals, groups, teams, and organizations. The society advances consulting psychology as both a science and a profession, promoting high standards of practice, research, professional development, and the exchange of ideas and consulting experience. Its work emphasizes multiculturalism, internationalism, and diversity, while fostering collaboration with allied associations and other APA divisions.

SCP serves its members through educational and professional development opportunities, including webinars, town halls, on-demand events, and conferences. Its programming includes events offering continuing education credit, an annual conference, and training and development initiatives. Members can also access mentorship, professional awards, committees, and a consultant directory. The society supports research through publications, news, podcasts, grants, and opportunities to share professional insights. Membership connects consulting psychologists with a collegial community, useful resources, and opportunities to strengthen their skills and capabilities.
