# Sof Epe - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sofepe.nl` ## Description SOF, short for Sport, Beweeg en Ontmoetings Faciliteit, is a community initiative of Stichting SOF in Epe-Noord, located near De Leege 24. It provides an accessible outdoor meeting place designed to encourage residents to play, exercise, connect and relax. Its activities bring together people of different ages and abilities, with a focus on participation, wellbeing and community life. From May through August, Basketball All Stars Epe and local partners offer wheelchair basketball, inclusive 3x3 basketball, regular 5x5 basketball lessons and training for adults aged 55 and over. Other activities include outdoor sports without a membership, walking and exercise routes, jeu de boules, and opportunities for hockey and football. The site also hosts school and after-school sports, community events and activities for people with specific support needs. SOF works with coaches, neighborhood groups, schools and welfare organizations to connect sport with education, health and social participation.
