Students can choose beginner and advanced karate and MMA sessions, kids’ grappling, youth boxing, adult boxing and grappling, adult MMA, and adult kickboxing and Muay Thai. The schedule also includes karate and combined boxing, kickboxing, and MMA sparring, alongside strength and conditioning and gymnastics classes. The academy’s founder, Sevak Ohanjanian, began martial arts training at age 13, studied Tae Kwon Do and Shotokan Karate, and competed in semi-professional Muay Thai by age 17. He later led a children’s karate program at Glendale Fighting Club, taking groups of young students to competitions. So Fit Academy combines martial arts instruction, sparring, and physical conditioning in a program designed to support skill development and personal growth.
