## Description

Soho Rep is a civic theater dedicated to producing ambitious, innovative new works by radical theatermakers. Based in New York City, the organization supports artists at key junctures in their creative practice, offering production development and programs designed to help pioneering work reach the stage and find future productions around the world. Its offerings include the Writer/Director Lab, Studio, and Project Number One, alongside a season of theatrical productions and opportunities for audiences to engage with new work.

Soho Rep’s programming includes world premieres and partnerships with other theater organizations. One example is Horsegirl & Cowdaddy, written by DJ Hills and directed by Adil Mansoor, presented with The Wilma Theater. The company has also announced The Hunger Cycle, a group of three world premiere productions developed with signal producing support from the Civis Foundation. Beyond performances, Soho Rep connects audiences with artist conversations and other related content, and invites community members to support its work through donations, events, and its shop.
