## Description

The Sok Up the Sun Foundation is a committed organization devoted to raising awareness and support for individuals and families affected by glioblastoma (GBM). Founded in memory of Michael Sokolowski, who bravely fought his battle against GBM, the foundation seeks to ease the financial burdens associated with treatment, travel, and care for patients.

Through its advocacy efforts, the foundation aims to promote greater understanding and awareness of glioblastoma within the community and beyond. Offering direct financial assistance to patients and their caregivers, the Sok Up the Sun Foundation empowers individuals during challenging times.

With a strong commitment to compassion and meaningful support, the foundation invites community members to join their cause through donations and participation in events. The first event is scheduled for October 17th in Middletown, CT, marking a pivotal moment in the foundation's journey. By standing together, supporters can honor the resilience of GBM warriors and their families, ensuring that no one battles this diagnosis alone.
