## Description

Solas Energy is a woman-owned energy consultancy helping utility, commercial, and community clients advance the transition to a sustainable, zero-carbon future. With decades of experience, the company supports projects from strategy and development through construction, operations, and repowering, drawing on expertise across renewable energy, storage, hydrogen, and climate change. Its work spans wind and offshore wind, solar, grid modernization, zero-emission vehicles, biomass, and emerging technologies.

Solas Energy provides strategy development, project and construction management, owner’s engineering, permitting, regulatory services, and operational support. Its advisory services include technical, economic, commercial, and regulatory due diligence for renewable energy investments, as well as policy advice, greenhouse gas quantification, sustainability support, and expert witness services. For utility-scale energy storage, the company assists with development, modelling, contracting, emergency response, and operations. It also advises on hydrogen projects and fleet decarbonization, supported by its EV intelligence database.

Solas Energy works with First Nations and other communities on renewable energy partnerships, helping evaluate developers, navigate regulation, and pursue ownership or participation.
