## Description

Solidarity Fund PL is the representation of the Solidarity Fund PL foundation from Poland in Moldova. Since 2012, we have been contributing to local development processes based on the principles of solidarity, subsidiarity, and synergy. Our main goal is to support local development in Moldova and we do this through various activities. In terms of rural development, we encourage local projects and initiatives that harness the potential and improve the image of rural areas in Moldova. Together with active members of local communities and development partners, we implement programs that enhance the quality of life in rural areas and promote the emergence of new local services. Additionally, we focus on urban development by revitalizing cities through local partnerships that prioritize the needs and involvement of residents. Our Urban Revitalization Programs target areas in cities that are in a state of crisis and require social, architectural, and economic changes. Furthermore, we work towards strengthening civil protection capacities in Moldova by implementing projects that create a favorable environment for the functioning and development of Territorial Posts of Volunteers Rescuer and Firefighters (PTSPV). In 2022, we initiated the pilot project Strengthening Civil Protection Capacities in Moldova to evaluate the current regulatory framework and operational experience. Throughout our years of activity in Moldova, we have co-financed numerous local development projects, facilitated partnerships, and built a dedicated team. We believe in effective communication and regularly share news, events, and announcements about our work.
