# Solihogs - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `solihogs.co.uk` ## Description Solihogs Hedgehog Rescue Centre was a wildlife rescue organisation dedicated to helping hedgehogs and protecting wildlife. The centre provided care for hedgehogs in need, supporting their rescue and rehabilitation before releasing them back into the wild. During its work, Solihogs helped more than 1,000 hedgehogs return to the wild, offering each animal the opportunity for a safer, healthier life. The centre relied on the commitment of volunteers and the generosity of its supporters, whose time, donations, encouragement and care helped make its work possible. Its founder, Alison, expressed deep gratitude to everyone who contributed, with particular thanks to volunteers Lynn, Charlotte, Deb, Pam, Emma and Katie for their dedication to the animals. Solihogs has now closed because Alison’s deteriorating health means she can no longer continue running the centre as she would wish.
