Led by Deborah Wälti-Sollberger, who took over the atelier in 2024, the business continues a family craft tradition established by her father, goldsmith Ulrich Sollberger. His work since 1974 includes a specialisation in gemstone setting. Rather than offering a ready-made range of rings, Sollberg works with clients from an initial conversation through sketches and designs to handcrafting each piece at the goldsmith’s bench. Its creations include wedding, engagement and partner rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings, pearl necklaces and men’s jewellery such as cufflinks. Bespoke designs can incorporate precious metals, carbon, stainless steel or titanium, and the Bergwelt collection draws inspiration from customers’ favourite mountain panoramas. At its Bälliz 13 shop, the atelier also provides personal consultations, jewellery repairs and alterations, and purchases of old gold.
