## Description

Solmáforo is a brand of SCIENTRONICS SAC focused on technology for measuring and preventing harmful exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Its flagship product is a solar-powered, autonomous monitoring device that measures UV radiation in real time and communicates the UV Index through visual alerts. Designed for workplaces and other open environments, the Solmáforo helps employers, safety teams, and the public make informed decisions about exposure times, protective measures, and scheduled breaks.

The equipment is described as measuring UV radiation across ranges A, B, and C, with sensors developed to standards associated with ISO 17166 and CIE S007/E-1998. The company also offers equipment manufactured to the World Health Organization scale, along with UV measurement products through its online store. Its services include guidance on local or workplace UV levels and talks about solar radiation at work, supporting occupational health and sun-protection programs. Solmáforo presents its approach as combining measurement, timely alerts, and prevention, while emphasizing durable materials and solar power. The brand reports installations in 13 countries and campaigns promoting sun protection.
