## Description

Sondermann e.V. is a Frankfurt-based association dedicated to promoting, researching, and sharing comic art and literature. Its work centers on the Sondermann Prize, an award recognizing outstanding achievements in comic art, alongside a Förderpreis and a stipend program that supports emerging creators. The association brings these activities to the public through regular award ceremonies and Sondermann Galas, featuring prize recipients, guest artists, talks, performances, and music. Events have been held at venues including Frankfurt’s Caricatura Museum and other local cultural spaces. Sondermann e.V. also offers membership, with members able to take part in its community and, for certain events, receive benefits such as complimentary admission or reserved seating. Through its awards, grants, and public programs, the organization connects audiences with comics, caricature, and other forms of humorous art and literature. Its website shares news about upcoming ceremonies, past laureates and fellows, membership, donations, and the association’s statutes, helping supporters follow its activities and contribute to the continued recognition and development of comic art.
