## Description

SONEFA is a nonprofit early childhood organization serving children and families across Greater Namur, Belgium. Established in 1971, it has more than 50 years of experience providing accessible, high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Today, SONEFA operates 11 nurseries and Les Marmouzets, a service of salaried home-based and shared-care providers, offering approximately 490 places.

The organization puts each child at the heart of its work, respecting individual needs, interests and pace of development. Its nurseries and home-care settings provide safe, caring places where children can explore, learn, build relationships and grow in confidence and independence. SONEFA also supports families with information about its care options, fees and enrollment, and guides them through the settling-in period.

With a team of around 280 professionals, SONEFA works alongside institutional and community partners to strengthen support for children and families. It continues to adapt its practices and develop projects in response to changing family needs, while giving particular attention to social and environmental issues.
