Established in the UK over 20 years ago, Sontronics began as a small, independent brand with a big ambition, to create boutique-quality microphones that could stand alongside the industry’s most respected names, while offering something distinct. From the beginning, our focus has been on craftsmanship, innovation and long-term reliability.

Sontronics microphones are hand-built in England, combining proprietary capsule design, carefully selected components and meticulous testing. We obsess over the details, not for the sake of complexity, but to ensure that when an artist steps up to the mic, what comes back through the speakers feels honest, inspiring and alive.

Our microphones have been used by artists including Ed Sheeran and Adele, and in world-class studios such as Abbey Road.
