Having started her career in magazine publishing, Sophie has since embarked on a successful freelance path.

She has a four-year tenure as a syndicated columnist with The Age, further showcasing her versatile skills and expertise. Her debut documentary short, The Battle, and her dramatic short, Hitch, have both garnered acclaim, with the latter winning the Audience Choice Award at Flickerfest.
