## Description

Jeonju International Sori Festival is a cultural festival organized by the Jeonju International Sori Festival Organizing Committee, celebrating traditional Korean music alongside diverse musical traditions from around the world. Its 2026 edition is scheduled for August 12–16 in Jeonju, with a program that brings performers, audiences, and music professionals together through concerts, workshops, showcases, and networking opportunities.

The festival features Korean genres such as pansori, sanjo, pungmul, and traditional percussion, as well as contemporary and cross-cultural performances. Program highlights include established and emerging artists, international acts, a children’s festival, and activities for young audiences, including music workshops and performances for preschoolers. Its Sori Frontier and Sori Choice programs spotlight selected performers, while Sori NEXT supports music-market activity through showcases, delegate booths, forums, and networking.
