## Description

The Special Educational and Care Centre of St. Francis of Assisi in Kębło is a small, welcoming institution serving young people aged 16 to 24 with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities. Drawing students from several regions, the centre provides education and residential care in a calm setting, with a focus on preparing students for adulthood, building self-confidence, encouraging independence and developing social skills. Its three-year school programme may be extended, and recruitment takes place throughout the year.

The centre’s services include a boarding facility, available on weekends, early developmental support for young children with disabilities or at risk of disability, and EEG Biofeedback therapy. Students can also take part in hippotherapy, supported by the centre’s horses and qualified staff, as well as ceramics workshops and activities with the MISZ MASZ theatre group. Residential life includes home-style meals and space for walks and recreation. An accessible minibus provides student transport to and from Puławy and Lublin on Mondays and Fridays.
