## Description

SoundStorm is the award-winning music education agency and lead partner for the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Music Education Hub. Working with schools, local music providers, cultural organisations and independent practitioners, it creates opportunities for children and young people to experience, develop, progress and perform through music. Its programmes include ensembles, youth orchestras, music centres, guitar groups, singing, radio and DJ workshops, summer school and other creative projects. SoundStorm also supports schools and teachers with first-access music activities, continuing professional development, curriculum resources and guidance on platforms such as Charanga, Soundtrap for Education and Focus on Sound. Its additional services include instrument loans, accessible instruments, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives, and funding through its Access Fund, grants and remissions. Young musicians can participate in workshops, performances and enrichment activities, while educators and partner organisations can access professional learning and collaboration opportunities. Through its programmes and partnerships, SoundStorm works to make music education and participation available to more young people across the BCP area.
