## Description

Sour Apple Outfitters is a wilderness hunting outfitter based in Wallowa County, Oregon, serving the Hells Canyon and Eagle Cap Wilderness areas, including the Snake River and Imnaha hunting units. The company arranges backcountry trips for elk, deer, spring bear, sheep, and goat, with options ranging from drop camps to supplied and fully guided hunts.

Camps are packed in at least three miles from the nearest trailhead and spaced several miles apart to support a more isolated hunting experience. Drop camp service includes riding and pack animals to transport hunters and equipment, with periodic visits during the hunt. Supplied camps add a wall tent, stove, lantern, cots, tables, and other listed equipment; guests provide their own food, water containers, and kitchen supplies. Sheep and goat hunters can book all-inclusive trips with camping equipment, meals, a cook or camp tender, and professional guide service. August summer drop camps are also available in the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
