## Description

At Source Handmade Foods is a South African food company focused on reinventing what healthier and tastier can mean in the dried fruit and nut category. Founded in 2002 on Koelfontein Farm in the Ceres Valley, the company builds on a long local farming heritage: the Conradie family has farmed the property since 1832 and helped establish its reputation for dried fruit production. At Source combines this tradition with a commitment to product innovation, aiming to serve a new generation of traditionalists. Its work spans developing products, reaching consumers through its own brands and business partners, and operating food production facilities with quality assurance. The company’s offering is centred on dried fruit and nuts, with innovation intended to redefine the category. Based at Koelfontein Farm near Prince Alfred’s Hamlet, At Source describes its ambition as building “The Greatest Little Food Company under the Sun” while honouring the legacy of the generations who came before it.
