# Sourisseau Academy - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sourisseauacademy.org` ## Description Sourisseau Academy for State and Local History promotes the study and preservation of local history, with a particular focus on Santa Clara County and Valley and California’s central coast region. Its work includes sponsoring historical research, educational programs, and publications, as well as helping rescue endangered archival documents and connect collections with appropriate repositories. The Academy maintains an extensive collection of photographs and ephemera related primarily to the region’s history. Through its online resources, visitors can explore photograph albums, collection guides, digital images, publications, and online exhibits. The Academy’s archivists and historians also provide research assistance and access to its archives, while photograph use and permissions information supports those seeking to work with collection materials. A variety of outreach programs are funded through the Donald Anderson Memorial Fund. The organization’s website was funded by Charles and Harriet Graham in memory of Glory Anne Laffey, who served as the Academy’s Executive Secretary from 1981 to 1999. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Eastern Blue | #1e81b0 | accent | | Cedar Wood Finish | #6f2700 | dark | | Picton Blue | #5fafe7 | light | ## Fonts - Times New Roman — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
