## Description

Southern Smoke is a brand dedicated to supporting and caring for food and beverage (F&B) workers. From farmers to fry cooks and servers to sommeliers, Southern Smoke understands the challenges faced by F&B workers and provides funds and resources to assist in unforeseen hardships and mental health needs. No request is too big or too small. Southern Smoke offers various programs to aid F&B workers. Their Emergency Relief Fund provides financial assistance for essentials like groceries, clothing, rent, and lost wages. There is no deadline for requests, and grants are awarded based on unforeseen financial crises. To qualify, applicants must be currently employed in F&B, working a minimum of 30+ hours per week for at least six months. In addition, Southern Smoke offers a no-cost mental health program called Behind You. This program provides counseling services for F&B workers and their families in select states, and financial assistance for mental health crises is available for those outside the service states. Southern Smoke also organizes an annual festival to support F&B workers in crisis nationwide. The festival features talented chefs, superb wine, beer, and spirits, as well as outstanding live music. Proceeds from the festival go towards benefiting the Southern Smoke Foundation, which has already distributed over $10.7 million to F&B workers across the country. When F&B workers need support the most, Southern Smoke is there to provide financial assistance and mental health services. Their dedication to the well-being of F&B workers sets them apart in the industry.
