## Description

South Gate Creative Writing School is a boutique institution for aspiring authors, offering a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Its program combines creative practice with practical education in the art and business of storytelling for modern media. Students explore a different popular genre or trend each semester, studying its history, evolution, influential works, structures, and tropes while developing their own distinctive voices.

The curriculum includes reading, viewing, analyzing, and writing across a range of forms, including popular and literary fiction, plays, film, children’s literature, young adult writing, and game narratives. Business classes cover freelance writing, building an author platform, publishing, grant applications, articles, and reviews. The school describes its program as personal and supportive, with fewer than 25 students, and tailors education to students’ levels, needs, and interests. Study is available in Denmark or online. Graduates earn a qualification recognized as Level 6, or bachelor level, under the European Qualifications Framework.
