South Hays Fire Department is a leading volunteer fire department in central Texas, serving the southern region of Hays County outside San Marcos. Our dedicated volunteers, along with the support of ESD #3 commissioners, are committed to providing top-notch fire, rescue, and first responder services to our community. In 2013, South Hays Fire Department, Inc. Our highly trained and equipped volunteer fire department is the backbone of our organization. These selfless individuals, who come from all walks of life, including business owners, college students, parents, teachers, retirees, career Fire Fighters/EMTs, and Law Enforcement, devote their spare time to keeping our community safe. With the continuous growth in our area and an increase in call volume, we are always looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our team. Together, we can make a difference and uphold our mission of protecting and serving the people of southern Hays County.
