## Description

Southland Ski Club is a non-profit organisation established in 1933 to encourage participation in snow sports. Based in New Zealand, the club owns and operates a lodge conveniently located below the base buildings at Coronet Peak. The lodge is available to club members, schools and other community groups, supporting access to the mountain and opportunities to enjoy skiing and other snow activities.

The club’s website provides information for prospective and current members, including membership fees, lodge availability and frequently asked questions. Visitors can explore ski-week details and access an application form, terms and conditions, and a suggested gear list. The site also features club news, newsletters, photographs and updates about the lodge, including information on open days. A calendar helps users check lodge availability, while links to NZ Ski and the Coronet Peak weather report offer useful planning resources.

Through its member-focused information and community access to a club-operated lodge, Southland Ski Club supports snow sports at Coronet Peak and helps organise practical arrangements for people planning a ski stay.
