South Lighthouse is a dynamic organization dedicated to the design, monitoring, control, consultation, and training of projects centered around the research and development of technologies for the advancement of human rights, security, and privacy. With a focus on Latin America, we actively engage in projects that tackle user surveillance and the mapping of abusive technological practices. 

One of our significant endeavors in 2019 involved detecting and comprehending cell phone surveillance in high-risk contexts throughout Latin America. Building on this success, we continued our efforts in 2020, furthering our expertise and publishing insightful resources in the field.
