## Description

South West Autism CIC is a small Exeter-based organisation providing support for autistic children and young people, including those with associated conditions such as ADHD, Tourette’s, situational mutism and OCD. Founded by Lisa and Greg McCullagh, who have more than 20 years’ experience in autism and are parents of a young person diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, the organisation works with families and the professionals who care for them.

Its services include family advice and guidance, one-to-one mentoring and tutoring, groups, and alternative education. Individual support is tailored to each young person and can take place at school, college, home, in the community or at the organisation’s centre in Pinhoe, Exeter. The centre also hosts family sessions and offers resources including a sensory room, music and gaming room, homework space, craft room and kitchen for developing life and independence skills.

South West Autism aims to empower parents and young people, build practical life skills and help young people overcome barriers and reach their potential. It welcomes enquiries from families seeking support.
