## Description

Sovereign Knights Basketball Club is a community basketball club based in Ballarat, Victoria, serving junior and senior players. Formed in 1982 to establish a basketball presence in Ballarat’s southern suburbs, the club grew from the amalgamation of the girls’ Wrens and boys’ Chieftans. It is a proud member of the Ballarat Basketball Association and welcomes new players, with junior teams recruiting boys and girls aged 5 to 19.

The club provides player information and an Intention to Play form for prospective members, as well as updates about opportunities, club activities and events. Members can take part in basketball through the club and connect with its community, which celebrates volunteers and life members. Sovereign Knights also shares information about Ballarat Basketball Association’s senior and junior tournaments.

The club offers merchandise and playing gear, including uniforms, shorts and other bottoms, shirts and singlets, hoodies, jackets and accessories. Its current uniform and logo followed a club rebrand in 2020, continuing a long history of evolving team colours and identity.
